Imperfect Pop-Ups is a new event company based right here in Kelowna, BC. They approached us in late 2023 with the idea of creating a new face in the event scene in Kelowna, and we happily obliged. We created them this new website from scratch as well as developing an event scheduling and ticket platform so everything can be managed under one roof – no third party websites needed!

The Client

Imperfect Pop-Ups stands out as more than just an event company—it’s a curator of exclusive, one-night-only experiences designed to bring people together and create lasting memories in Kelowna. They create ‘spontaneous, energetic, and unique Pop-Up experiences that leave you wanting more’. Their pop-ups are crafted to create a unique atmosphere for people wanting premium, limited, and exclusive entertainment.

The Task

Embarking on their journey as a new company, Imperfect Pop-Ups entrusted Wilson Creative with the task of creating their inaugural online presence. The result is a customized website that mirrors the innovation and uniqueness that defines Imperfect Pop-Ups’ events. They wanted an all-in-one service to list their events, sell tickets, and sign folks in at the door. Using our well-developed toolkit, we set them up with their dream workflow. Events are added to the site, and tickets are purchased on an exclusive basis while quantities last! Customers can then be signed in at the door with the beautifully crafted QR code ticket sent to their email.

The Results

Working closely with Imperfect Pop-Ups, our team at Wilson Creative developed a visually stunning and user-friendly website. The design captures the essence of their dynamic events, creating an online space that engages visitors from the moment they arrive. To enhance user experience, we integrated a robust event calendar, allowing visitors to easily explore upcoming exclusive experiences curated by Imperfect Pop-Ups.

In line with Imperfect Pop-Ups’ commitment to providing hassle-free experiences, our team implemented a comprehensive ticketing system. This includes streamlined order and ticket management, ensuring a smooth process for attendees to secure their spots. To further enhance the on-site experience, Wilson Creative implemented a state-of-the-art at-the-door ticket scanning system. This feature ensures a seamless entry process for attendees, allowing them to transition seamlessly from anticipation to enjoyment.
